They say money can't buy happiness, but it sure can buy you plane tickets to a vacation destination where you can stay at the most luxurious hotel room with breathtaking views, relax in a bathtub while you enjoy the setting sun over the mountains, and taste the best wine money can buy. And if that is not happiness, then what is? While we, the common people, lose our sleep over paying mortgages and planning investments for our future, it has been found that the top 1% prefers spending big bucks on vacationing, and they can very well afford to splurge. They can travel by private jets and gorge on expensive meals at Michelin-star restaurants. But what about the best hotels? Want to see what these super-exclusive hotel rooms look like? Read on!

Royal Penthouse Suite, President Wilson Hotel, Geneva

The Royal Penthouse Suite at President Wilson Hotel in Geneva is a place that attracts the head of the states, dignitaries, and billionaires. As of 2018, it is the most expensive suite money can buy. The place has 12 bedrooms and is located on the eighth floor. Breathtaking views, floor-to-ceiling glass windows (all bulletproof), a panic room, a private elevator, a personal chef, armored doors, a private helipad, and all kinds of amenities including exclusive ones you can only find in the White House or Kremlin is available here, too. It will set you back by $80,000 per night, but you will get the optimum amount of comfort, security, and lavishness that will make you feel like royalty!

Five Bedroom Terrace Suite, The Mark, New York City

The Five Bedroom Terrace at The Mark, New York is the most expensive suite right now in the USA. It is not just the nightly tariff that will bring your jaw to the floor; the sheer luxury of the place is guaranteed to blow your mind. The historic hotel is an iconic landmark in New York. The 10000-square-foot penthouse is located at the 16th and 17th floors of The Mark and has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The living room is so massive that it can be turned into a grand ballroom if the need arises.  The terrace provides outdoor seating and a marvelous view of New York's skyline. It has been recently renovated and the place is more plush and opulent than before. A per night tariff of $75000 makes it perfect for the rich and the famous.

Penthouse Suite, Grand Hyatt Martinez, Cannes

The lovely art-deco hotel in Southern France has a private beach and has seen its fair share of Hollywood celebrities, thanks to its exclusive guest rooms. But the penthouse is definitely the creme de la creme. Priced at $53,200 per night, the place is over 17000 square feet. The walls are decorated with works of Picasso and Matisse. Here, class meets opulence, and if the art and the comfort isn't enough, the suite features a huge terrace overlooking the Boulevard de la Croisette.

Hilltop Villa, Laucala Island, Fiji

The exotic islands of Fiji are perfect for honeymooners. They offer quietude and serenity, and resorts in Fiji try their best to make their customers happy. If you need a getaway in Fiji, the Hilltop Villa is definitely the best of the lot. The place is the remotest of all resorts and is located among lush greenery at the end of a private road. There are 3 villas that can accommodate 8 people, and they offer exclusive amenities and uber-luxurious rooms to their guests. For $45,000 a night, the main villa comes with a hot tub, a soaking tub, and a private pool with waterfall. In the bedroom, you'll be surprised to find that it features a large walk-in closet, something that we all dream of having in our own homes. With a mix of luxury and rustic interiors, this might just make your vacation in Fiji the best one you've ever had.

Grand Riad, Hotel Mansour, Marrakech

The Hotel Mansour at Marrakech is definitely one of the most luxurious places in the city, and the Grand Riad is the showstopper there. The Grand Riad has 4 bedrooms, 2 pools, and a hammam. The place is fit for kings  and so is the price which is $43,480 a night. There are other riads, too and the place is built like a medina maze. Though each Riad looks fabulous and has a grand display of local art and craft, the Grand Riad provides the best experience. It includes a landscaped garden as well, and the terrace view of Mount Atlas is to die for.

Even if you can't afford any of these places in your lifetime, there is no harm in taking a peak into the lives of the wealthiest. Knowing about them and looking at the spectacular pictures itself is an experience.
