Joining the Las Vegas Residency can be a dream come true for many artists. So far only few superstars have managed to snag a spot on the city's residentship including some renowned names like Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey. Now Drake has become the latest on the list of performers who will grace the stage with their presence. Drake signed to perform at least ten shows and get paid $10 million.

The rapper is excited to start this multi-million dollar deal at X Nightclub. For those who have forgotten, the rapper loves the nightlife. He has pulled stunts once when he splashed dollars on the workers of a nightclub. Las Vegas may become his new home as he starts a new life in this city.

Before he announced his residency deal, he had performed in the club for 30 minutes and got paid for $2 million. However, this $10 million residency deal is something he can shout about because it is big. Drake is one of the richest rappers on earth according to Forbes.

The rapper has earned more money in 2018 through his album sales and tours. Drake has an equity stake in Hidden Hills, California and Virginia Black whiskey and estates, Toronto, Canada.
